ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS

İstanbul Arel University Purchasing Directorate, with its expert staff, ensures that all procurement processes are carried out in the academic, administrative, and investment subjects of our university within the scope of the “Foundation Higher Education Institutions Tender Regulation”. The role of the Directorate of Purchasing is to help departments/units make conscious and effective purchasing decisions. The primary responsibilities of Purchasing and Payment Services are as follows:

 

  • To provide strategic resources on behalf of the University by making contracts and agreements to be used by all departments/units,
  • To support the tender process on behalf of departments/units, (on request)
  • Maintaining, interpreting and implementing the purchase policy,
  • To approve purchases when central approval is required in accordance with the policies,
  • Sending all purchase orders to the sellers,
  • Making changes to purchase orders when requested by departments/units,
