The Department of Medical Education is the department in charge of the ongoing medical education programs in Family Medicine and Specialty Science that the Faculty organizes following graduation. It adheres to the standards set by the Departments of Fundamental Medical Sciences (first three semesters), Internal and Surgical Medical Sciences (last three semesters, including hospital internships and internships in Family Medicine), and other departments that make up the pregraduate (undergraduate) education of the Faculty of Medicine. It also collaborates with the Departments to transfer curriculum modifications that are annually updated to reflect scientific advancements to the course programs. Coordination of specialty/specialization training in medicine (4-5 years) following the undergraduate education (6 years) and the specialization sub-branch/upper specialization training (2-3 years) given thereon.
