The development of a country in the economic, social and cultural spheres is associated with the presence of qualified and educated individuals in that country. According to the definition of the World Health Organization (WHO), health is not only the absence of illness and disability, but also the fact that a person is in a state of complete well-being physically, spiritually and socially.
The structure of the health sector, which includes all institutions and organizations providing services for this purpose, varies depending on the population of the country, cultural development, natural resources, political and economic system. Moreover, the increasing importance given to health and the increase in the quality of health services increase the competition among health institutions and make important contributions to the development of the sector.
In addition to resource characteristics such as physical structure, tools, manpower and finance in the provision of health services, the way of service delivery and the satisfaction of those who receive services are also shown as the most determinant features in the competition between organizations. Researches show that institutions operating in the health sector should make serious changes in their business strategies due to factors such as the differentiated population structure, emerging new diseases, developing technology, and a large increase in health costs.
It is the sectoral expectation that the medical personnel who will serve in the field of anesthesia and reanimation will be trained with changing and developing medical science and technological equipment, and that educational institutions will be at a level that can meet this need. Today, there is a need for intermediate professionals trained in accordance with the requirements of the service in the field of anesthesia and reanimation.
It is aimed to train individuals with the necessary professional qualifications in international standards in the field of anesthesia technician. Our university aims to contribute to the health development of the society in order to train intermediate professionals who are in need and at the standards that will meet the expectations of the health sector.
Job Opportunities
Anesthesia technician can be employed in all kinds of medical institutions (public hospital, private hospital, maternity hospital, university hospitals, private clinics, Private/Public Medical Imaging Centers, etc.) where surgery is performed. Cooperation will be made with private and official inpatient and outpatient treatment institutions, other institutions and organizations, local and foreign non-governmental organizations, professional chambers affiliated to the Ministry of Health, in the training and employment of students, on the teaching activities, employment opportunities and planning issues required by the program.
